Vicks is made of human hair
This is from one of my home lore. I don't want to forget this, so jotting it down.
My little brother who was and is the smartest among the 3 of us and me being the dumb kind.
Once he came to me with a Vicks vaporub bottle in his hand and told me that it was made of human hair and dad told him about it. This was when he was around 9-10 and I was 10-11. I did not give any other thought to it and blindly believed that Vicks was made from human hair, since then for us Vicks was a mush made from human hair.
Days passed and the ingredients for Vicks remained the same for both of us, human hair. Then, out of nowhere it struck me that it did not make sense that Vicks could be made of human hair. I started pushing the limits of my powerhouse, I could finally solve the mystery.
I called Chotu and asked him, "what is Vicks made of?" Without blinking, he said "with human hair, dad told me". Oh yeah? with a smug look, I told him, this is what has happened. You asked dad "What is Vicks made of" and he said human hair and he was right because he heard Vicks as wigs, and of course wigs are made of human hair. And, then you passed it onto me, the Sherlock Holmes of the home, it took me hardly anytime, a few years to figure out that Vicks is not actually made of human hair, wigs are!!
There is one more story about Masjid-e-haza, again the winner was Mr. Holmes. Coming up sometime later.

OMG this is so so funny. Please keep sharing, I will share some anectodes too. Yesterday he came and installed a printer at our house. He took a paper and wrote on it - This is a voice activated Printer. If you want it to start, say "Taco Bell" and Taaseen has been saying that ever since! The printer doesn't do anything and he keeps eating my head. That's Chotu for you!
